Clear, beautiful and melodic. Just listening to the tape makes you think you are back in Ireland or at least in an Irish pub in Germany where many of my former colleagues, both American military and civilian and German civilian used to socialize. My particular favorites on the tape are GREEN AMONG THE GOLD, EMIGRANT EYES, I CAN ALMOST SEE IRELAND NOW and THE MOON ON CLANCY'S WINGS.

This is a GREAT tape I bought after I had met Frank singing at the Kevin Berry's Irish Pub in Savannah, Georgia where I live. Frank's deep voice, his passion for his music and what he believes in comes across very strongly in his singing.

The only book on the list, this is a collection of personal stories by five Irish musicians and entertainers: Frank Emerson, Seamus Kennedy, Robbie O'Connell, Harry O'Donoghue, and Dennis O'Rourke. I was fortunate enough to have a copy of it signed by Seamus Kennedy at the 18th Annual Irish Festival in Savannah (February 2010).
