My choice for Album of the Year. Includes my favorite song of 2010: As She's Walking Away. I like this collection a bit more than their 2008 release The Foundation. Unfamiliar with the sound of the ZBB? Think a combination of The Grateful Dead, The Band & The Allman Brothers. Also includes the hit "Colder Weather".

Ever-so-slightly beats out Melissa Etheridge as my third favorite album of 2010. Includes the hits Halfway Gone & All In. Lifehouse are now coming into their own on their fifth studio album...look for them to become more popular in the years ahead. The band is Jason Wade: Singer/songwriter/guitarist/piano, Ricky Woolstenhulme Jr: Drums, Bryce Soderberg: Bass & Ben Carey: Guitar.

Sounding VERY Beatlesque (this album reminds me of a cross between the Beatles' Revolver & Magical Mystery Tour) & phychedelic the PWT's deliver their best album to date. The T's have found a higher level with this music & I hope they only keep going in this direction on future discs.

Not quite Dixie Chicks but a great substitute (2/3 of the DCs is better than none!). This album would have been a great follow-up to the Chicks 2006 Taking the Long Way.

As strong as any album the Doobies released in the 1970s!!! Totally surprised that they could reignite the magic of yesteryear with their first album in over a decade. Highly recommended for fans of 70s music.

To Pettypresents a wide variety of American music from rock 'n' roll to country and both electric and acoustic blues. And then there are the images in Petty's lyrics which slip in on the melodies and set up a home in your head.
