THE ALBUM OF 2010. . .this album is a perfect example of a band fine-tuning their craft and i would say they have nearly perfected it here. its fuzzy, poppy, and experimental all at the same time and the flow of the album is key to its feel and hopefully this album will get this band the audience and attention they deserve

for the third straight time, they deliver a catchy yet poignant concept album, and this time the concept for the album is about anxieties of our modern world and it is equally brilliant as it is beautiful

apparently, nowadays or at least in the past few years, it seems like all girl groups are making a comeback and this is probably the finest example of why it's a good thing. some very well-crafted noisy retro, doo wop punk tunes that sound like they came right off the beach in the 1960's

the ex-noisy art punk duo have really upped the game and elevated their craft with this fine third album. no longer is the band relying soley on music spasms and noise, they allow their songs to breathe and create space where the songs blossom into thier own and this is some of the best sonic noise i've heard in awhile

bon iver's drummer steps out of justin vernon's shadow and the result is a magnificant lush folk album that draws similiar influences to "for emma forever ago" in look, feel and sound. fans of the latter won't want to miss this one, justin vernon has him some competition

the new jersey boys have totally met expectations with a stellar third album. i loved the "59 sound" and this is a great progression for them into a more rock & roll sound with their signature on it. one of the best old school rock & roll bands around today

i was a little skeptical when i heard danger mouse was teaming with the frontman of one of my favorite indie bands (the shins). however, when i heard the first track, i knew everything was going to be fine. and this album is "fine" indeed
